Sub-Theme: AI in Education and Learning Systems
Prof. Hellen Wangechi Kamiri holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences (Soil Science) from the University of Bonn, Germany. Her research focuses on land use systems, soil mapping, horticultural landscapes, and agricultural curriculum design.
With over 11 years in university teaching and 15 years in international research and management, she has served as Head of Department, Dean of Faculty, and Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics, Research, and Student Affairs). Prof. Kamiri has authored over 25 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers, contributing extensively to soil science, agronomy, and sustainable agriculture.
An experienced trainer, researcher, and consultant, she has developed training guides and contributed to farming-focused media such as the New Agriculturist Newsletter and BBC Radio. As a sub-theme speaker at ICSKS 2025, Prof. Kamiri will delve into how AI transforms education and learning systems, particularly in agricultural training and innovation.
